Even when memory fades, passions never do. 🏊
Ask Shirley what she loves to do, and the first thing she’ll talk about is swimming. She grew up spending hours in the water with her family, taught lifesaving and even once rescued a friend from drowning.
So our team at Americare - Willow Springs made it their mission to get Shirley back in the water.
They reached out to Longview Recreation Center, who generously opened their doors. And without hesitation, our team suited up and got in right alongside her.
With support every step of the way, Shirley was back in her element, reconnecting with a joy she’s carried her whole life.
